Though it's not a primary focus in my overall body of work, I am very passionate about working with the figure.  I believe this passion has underpinnings steming from a feeling of physical disconnection from my own body when I was much younger. Along with battling other sypmtoms of depression, I spent years to develop a stronger sense and awareness of my body.  This work has given me a deep respect and curiosity for the complex and mysterious nature of the human form and how the human organism is built to function, both inside and out.
